DraimWorks Gallery opened May 19th

After years of dreaming and working, our gallery opened on Thursday, May 19. We are loving our cozy new home in Cabot Plaza on Kit Carson Road, in the heart of the historic center of Taos. we are befriending all the neighboring gallery owner. Rob Nightingale from Wilder Nightingale Fine Arts bought our first automaton, Jungle Bird!

A day later Madame X and Drunken Sailor were purchased and shipped off to Baton Rouge. Three weeks in, we have sold two more; The Writer & Last Tango in Paris. Most warming is the response from visitors, from a nervous peek in the door, to the tentative first turn of the handle after we urge to "Touch, Turn the Handle." Then the smiles and chuckles come out. We have received so much support and encouragement.
